Frequently asked questions
Is it a good gift?
It's a gift built around a photo that matters: grandparents, partner, pet, a baby's first days. Order ahead: each one is made to order.
Will my photo show in colour?
No. The colour is only on the housing. The screen is a lithophane: off, it looks white; on, the LED's warm light draws your photo in sepia tones.
What kind of photo works best?
Landscape photos in 4:3, with large faces and good contrast. Avoid very dark backgrounds or blurry shots: the lithophane needs clear light and shadow to come through. Pets and portraits of one or two people work especially well.
What colours does it come in?
Four: pink, green, yellow and blue. The colour is on the sides and top; the front is graphite grey and the screen is white. You pick it on the product page before uploading your photo.
How long does it take to arrive?
Each TV is made to order with your photo. You'll see the exact lead time at checkout, before you pay.
How does it turn on, and what powers it?
With the button on the housing. It runs on the included 2.5 m USB-A cable and works with any USB-A charger, computer or power bank; the charger itself isn't included.
Why it makes such a good gift

A photo that matters
Grandparents, partner, pet or a baby's first days: you choose the photo.

Surprise when you switch it on
Off, it is a white relief. Press the button and your photo appears in warm light.

A memory that lights up
Not another photo on a phone: it sits on their bedside and glows every night.

Light every night for less than €1 a year
At just 1 W, you can leave it on 8 hours a day for a whole year for less than the price of a coffee.

Why it looks like magic (and isn't)
The screen varies in thickness: where it's thinnest, about a millimetre, light gets through; where it's thicker, it becomes shadow. Switched off, you just see a white relief. Turn on the LED and those differences draw your photo in warm tones.
